Disks and other stuff

So far in their illustrious indie recording career Swifter has recorded the 3 song demo seen above. It was done during the magical summer of 2000 and showcases 3 of their first songs. Only 2 are listed because the third one makes us cringe.

Don't you dare think that this is as good as it gets!! For a while we lacked the cash to head back to the studio while Swiftermania was first taking hold of Halifax, ...but... no longer!!! We just got a big-ass grant from the government to re-record the demo songs plus some rocking new ones, so we'll be back in the studio very shortly!!

On the commercial release frontSwifter is also on a compilation CD featuring 10 local rock/alternative bands. Entitled “Halifax Plugged-In II”, this 18 song CD was released May 24, 2001. Both albums were recorded at Denmark Productions by Dennis Field; a Judge at the 2000 Juno Awards.

The Swifter entries on Halifax Plugged-In II, ‘Been Missing’ and ‘Bubblegum Girl’, highlight the bands tight and catchy energetic music.
